Tested for chemical emissions, Eclipse Shutters has been certified by GREENBUARD Indoor Air Quality. Eclipse Shutters has also been certified for GREENGUARD Children and Schools for emitting interior building materials, furnishing and finish systems used in educational (daycare and k-12) environments.

 

Made of Polyresin 3

Polyresin 3 is a colorfast compound with UV stabilizers designed with strength and durability, yet retaining a special warmth and feel. Shutters will not warp, shrink, chip, peel or fade and never need painting.

 

Fire Retardant

Polyresin 3 is fire retardant and self-extinguishing. It is safe to use in residential and commercial applications. Eclipse Shutters meet (NFPA-701) National Fire Code Standards.

 

Additional Insulator

An R-Value of 3.40 helps to reduce heating and cooling costs as well as outside noise. Closing the louvers upward can help keep heat in the home and provide more privacy.

Tilt-Bar vs. Clearview

We offer our shutters in Traditional Tilt-Bar or our patented Clearview option. While some people still want the classic styling of the tilt-bar for opening and closing their shutters, others want an unobstructed view. For this, Eclipse offers the Clearview option. A patented series of connectors located on the back of the shutters offers a clean appearance when the shutters are closed, while also providing an undivided view of the outdoors when fully opened.  Order Clearview to achieve an even greater perspective!
